Welp,
it’s two hours past my bedtime, but it’s okay because I finally finished the book I started in July 2010. Feels good, man.

Really fucking sleepy
With 4 hours of the day left to go. Mrrrrrrrrrrrrrr At least the rest of the week will be a bit more interesting…tomorrow I essentially have a 12-hour day, because it’s opening night for the Symphony and I have to help out at the concert. Friday I’ll be going to a music education showcase, which may or may not be boring but will at least be a change of pace (and won’t last...

aimemente: popculturebrain: One Million Moms, a project of The American Family Association, is calling for a boycott of Ben & Jerry’s bold new SNL-based flavor, Schweddy Balls. In an official statement the group wrote… Ben & Jerry’s announced their newest ice cream flavor which sounds anything but appealing. Schweddy Balls is the best they could come up with. Thanks to those who responded to my earlier post
I’m doing perfectly fine. My sister came over for dinner tonight which was a lot of fun and lifted my spirits. It was nice to have our little family of four all together again for a little while. I’m very sad about today’s incident, but I’m thankful that it was a man I was only acquainted with briefly and not a close friend or relative.

So this happened today.
A couple weeks ago, I headed over to one of the Yale School of Music buildings with a coworker to see about Youth Orchestra rehearsal space. When we were there I met a handsome young man, dressed to the nines and incredibly charming. He’s on our Education Committee and has helped fund all sorts of arts programs in the area. After a brief little chat he promised to help me find some kids for...
